Our Story
Every person has their own story. If you are reading or hearing these words, your story has begun another chapter. Let me share something from when I first questioned the Word of God. I was not questioning its validity, rather I was looking for confirmation. I was asked how I was baptized. I knew something about the baptism, so I though it would be easy for me to answer. And it was. I answered this question immediately. The person that I was talking to told me there was more to it. I was asked if I followed the baptism of the Bible, the same baptism that the apostles preached? At this point my knowledge ended. I did not know what the apostles preached or did, so I had to let the person speak. Let me read you something, I heard. "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Book of Acts chapter 2 verse 38." Then I was asked again if I had been baptized in this way. My answer was no. These words challenged me, but I did not reject them. I wanted to make sure that if this was God's way for me, then I had to do something about it and I did. Now is your time to do something.
Our expectations
Our goal is to be accepted by God. But to do that, we must have and follow certain principles. The expectations of the Gospel to People can be summarized in the following words. *To live according to God’s words recorded in the Bible. *To follow God’s plan of redemption. *To have a faith built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself as the chief cornerstone. *To believe and obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ. *To know where we have fallen away from God. *To be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. *To be filled with the Holy Spirit as it happened on the day of Pentecost. *To encourage one another and help one another in life’s situations.

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
