An habitation of God

As I watched the block layers do their work, I noticed that the walls were starting to build from the corners. Once the corners were done correctly, you could start building the walls and the rest of the building. Ephesians 2:20 says, " And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;"
Think about the chief corner stone for the moment. To me it represents the place from where you start to build. Jesus Christ and His words are the "place" on which we begin to build our lives.
"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. (Matthew 7:24-25)

In order to have a solid foundation, we must believe the prophets who prophesy about Jesus Christ and the apostles who testify about Jesus Christ. When we do this, then we are on the right path to begin building (growing, maturing) our holy life. The Bible says that we grow into a holy temple in the Lord (Ephesians 2:21).
In the following scripture we find the whole reason why we make changes in our lives, why we do and don't do certain things, and why we focus on becoming holy.
" In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit." (Ephesians 2:22)
Above scripture is the true purpose of every believer. Every person should present himself as holy and acceptable to God. You probably know that God likes and dislikes certain things. It is our duty to know and do what he likes and our responsibility not to do what he doesn't like so that He can live with us.
I want to encourage you to continue building your life based on Jesus Christ and His words. No matter how far you are, please, do not stop. Keep going! Because once you stop, you are going to be "half-build". And "half build" is not complete. And what is not complete is not ready. Be perfect and complete in all the will of God.
