When Jesus comes, He will require the individual to be at the level of maturity that they should be.
Maturity is a lifelong process. As our body undergoes growth development, so does our spiritual life. Maturity can be defined as "growing wiser and more mature". Jesus increased in wisdom and stature (maturity) and in favour with God and man. Luke 2:52

Wisdom (mental development of know-how) is the stage when a person is skilful and can apply the knowledge. A person who is matured (perfect, complete) has developed his mental and moral character and reacts to situations with understanding.
During life, a person can have different levels of of maturity.
Social maturity - a person is economically independent
Emotional maturity - a person who is not dependent on parents
Psychological maturity - stabilization of forms of behaviour, thinking, experience
Biological maturity - physical maturity, the ability to become parents
Sociological maturity - the ability to satisfy one's individual social needs, adapting to new social roles, especially starting a family and starting working life
Mental maturity - the ability to take responsibility
Legal maturity - acquisition of rights and obligations
Spiritual maturity is the maturity when one is filled with the Holy Ghost, led by the Holy Ghost and able to discern or distinguish between good and evil.
"For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." Hebrew 5:13-14 (KJV)
"For everyone who lives on milk is still a baby and does not yet know the difference between right and wrong. But solid food is for mature people, whose minds are trained by practice to distinguish good from evil." Hebrew 5:13-14 (ISV)
One of the keys to maturity is learning. We should all be willing and able to learn from Jesus.
"Place my yoke on you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:29
