Don't ignore important issues!

We humans have a tendency to ignore important issues that we don't want to face, such as last night's supper dishes or the pile of laundry on the floor. Sometimes the issue is more serious like tax deadline or a relationship on the rock with a family member or friend. Sometimes, because we fear the outcome, we ignore the problem for as long as possible, hoping it will somehow go away or resolve itself. While indeed in some instances the situation may go away or resolve itself, in other it may grow worse or be too late and we will forever regret our inaction.

Many today are putting off living for God. They know God is real and they should serve Him, but they put if off. Many will stay in the valley of decision too long, death or Jesus will come, either way it will be too late. How terrible it will be for those who had a knowledge of God, but ignored His call, to spend eternity in torment knowing it didn't have to be.
Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today, especially concerning your soul! You may wait too long. In the days of Noah, the majority ignored Noah's warning until it was too late. The door of this ark is about to shut!
Even Paul sounded a warning to those within the church, "And that knowing the time, that it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light." That was nearly 2000 years ago, how late is now?
